Generating Ideas: Throughout the semester I believe that I had made a very significant change in my ability to generate ideas such my ability to identify and apply appropriate mathematical tools to certain situations, and to generate multiple means of approaching a problem. I believe that I illustrated that a lot in the recent seminars of semester two, by getting more involved and contributing to the group discussion. I think that I struggled a lot this year with my ability to formulate a plan, mainly because I wasn't understanding how to do a lot of the content.
Communicating thinking: I think that I struggled a lot with this category over the time of first semester, but I definitely tried to improve in these going into second semester and I believe that I really did improve in my abilities to respond to the ideas of others, by not being so quite in group settings such as seminar. Throughout the course of the year I think that I slowly got more and more comfortable in the group seminar settings in class and was able to speak up more about my thoughts on the problems at hand.
Recognizing and Resolving Errors: I believe that I really struggled in this category all year because like I've said before, I really struggled understanding a good amount of the content that we learned in both halves of the year.
Reflecting and Synthesizing: I believe that I have shown the ability to provide justification for an idea or process by being able to explain my reasoning behind answers that I had found on certain explorations to students that maybe didn't understand the problem as well. I think that I did an exceptional job of showing my ability to do so during the binomial and trinomial unit in second semester.
